Joe Logan Diffie was born and raised in Oklahoma, where he was immersed in music from a young age. His first public performance came in his aunt's country band when he was only four. Career highlights for Joe Diffie include 12 #1 Hits, over 20 top 10 hits, two platinum albums, 2 gold albums, a CMA with George Jones, a Grammy, and the Humanitarian Award. His lists of hits includes Prop Me Up Beside The Jukebox (If I Die), Bigger Than The Beatles, Pickup Man, John Deere Green, Tougher Than Nails, Honky Tonk Attitude, Third Rock From The Sun, Ships That Don't Come In, A Night to Remember and more. He was inducted into the Nashville 's legendary Grand Ole Opry and nominated for CMA Male Vocalist of the Year and for a CMA for his duet with Mary-Chapin Carpenter on "Not Too Much To Ask" which Joe wrote. Joe Diffie will be appearing at 8PM.
The festival will feature boot kickin' country music from a variety of country bands including North Carolina favorite's Dakota Rain at 6PM, Holland Marie and Johnston County Line at 4PM & Dixie Driver at 2PM. The festival & entertainment will begin at 2:00pm with Joe Diffie appearing at 8:00pm. Guests can stroll through the arts & crafts booths as well as the assortment of food vendors. Bring the kids & enjoy the Kidz Zone featuring Bouncer & Inflatable Slide provided by Bouncin' Party Rentals. Relax & enjoy the music outdoors at Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Area in Kure Beach on the beautiful Cape Fear River.
